Our Rule

Our Rule is a guide for our community and is unique in its goal to be a contemporary expression of the Rule of St. Clare and St. Francis. We have lived the Rule for more than five years. It continues to be a subject of regular reflection, prayer and study. It is a living document of religious life that draws upon the wisdom of the Franciscan traditions of poverty, celibacy and obedience. Our community is strengthened as each woman makes her full contribution to our community and our ministry of prayer. We listen to each other and speak and act out of respect and love for one another.
